MEET THE TEAM

Mats Wilander
Mats Wilander was formally the No.1 tennis player in the world. During his illustrious career, Mats won seven Grand Slam singles titles (three at the French Open, three at the Australian Open and one US Open) and one Grand Slam men's doubles title at Wimbledon with Joakim Nystrom. He finished 1988 ranked No.1 in the world and was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2002. He also helped Sweden win the Davis Cup in 1984, 1985 and 1987. In more recent years, Mats has developed a successful career as a tennis commentator and presenter for Eurosport and other leading broadcasters.
Annabel Croft
Annabel Croft is a former British No.1, who won the girls' singles at Wimbledon in 1984. Since she stopped playing, Annabel has established herself as one of the world's top tennis broadcasters. She is a presenter for Eurosport at the Australian Open and the French Open, and is a leading pundit on Sky Sports for their coverage of the US Open. She has covered The Championships for BBC Radio 5 Live for many years, and will also be a pundit for the BBC during the 2012 London Olympic Games' tennis event at Wimbledon.
Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes
Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes' extensive and varied CV spans 10 years in front of the camera and includes The Football League Show, Newsround, Sportsround, The Wonderful World of Weird, the BBC News Channel and Countryfile. She has worked on many high-profile programmes for BBC Sport including The Grand National and Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Rob Walker
Rob Walker is a network television broadcaster with 13 years experience. He is well known and respected for his energy and passion on camera. He is a familiar face on BBC Sport, having been part of their output for the last three Olympic Games and the last two editions of the Football World Cup. Since 2007 he has been one of Channel 4's sports presenters as well as one of their lead athletics commentators. Later this summer he will be working on the London Olympics and Paralympics for both channels. This is his third year covering Wimbledon.
Cara Robinson
Cara Robinson has worked at IMG Sports Media for five years, during which time she has trained as a presenter and reporter. She has worked on a variety of sports productions, including presenting the National Rugby Sevens Series for Sky Sports; reporting for @TheOpenLIVE and presenting several behind the scenes videos for The Championships.

ABOUT LIVE @ WIMBLEDON

Aiming to replicate for fans the experience they would have if they were at the All England Club themselves, Live @ Wimbledon TV, presented by Mats Wilander, Annabel Croft and Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes, and supported by roving reporters Rob Walker and Cara Robinson, will provide all the colour of the Grounds, whilst bringing live coverage of crucial moments from each of the most important matches. It is available to users in the UK and the Americas (excluding Brazil).

MEET THE TEAM

Marcus Buckland
Marcus Buckland has been the "face" of tennis on Sky Sports since 2007, presenting coverage of the US Open, the Barclays ATP World Tour finals and the nine Masters 1000 series events. He has covered Wimbledon for the BBC and IMG since 1994. Marcus has also presented football, cricket, golf and rugby union on Sky and "voices" the International version of the Barclays Premier League Review show and the "World Show." Away from the microphone he still hits a reasonable forehand down the line but spends more time on the golf course and cheering on Spurs with his two young sons.
Ian Payne
Ian Payne has had a varied and lengthy presenting career in Radio and TV Sport - at BBC Five Live, BBC TV, IMG Media, LBC 97.3 and Sky Sports. Ian has hosted all manner of events, from Sport on Five and Sports report on Five Live to live Premier League football on Sky Sports. He supports Leeds United, is still yearning for a British grand slam tennis champion in his lifetime and says his weirdest job remains burying dead goats on a farm in New Zealand.
Barry Cowan
Barry Cowan is a former professional tennis player. He was ranked number 3 in the country and represented GB in Davis Cup and the Olympics. His most notable match came in 2001 when he took defending champion Pete Sampras to five sets at Wimbledon. Outside of tennis Barry can be found on the golf course and is a big Liverpool football fan.
Wayne Ferreira
Wayne Ferreira played on the ATP World Tour for 16 years with a highest singles ranking of 6 and highest doubles ranking of 9. He was ranked in the top 20 for most of his career, winning 15 singles titles, two ATP Masters Series titles, nine doubles titles, and a silver medal at the Barcelona Olympic Games. In his long career, he played 54 consecutive Grand Slams, a world record at the time for which he was given the Iron Man of Tennis award.
Robbie Koenig
Robbie Koenig is a retired professional tennis player from South Africa. Most notable for reaching the semi finals of the 1998 US Open Men's Doubles and his 5 ATP Tour titles. He now works as a tennis broadcaster worldwide, covering all the ATP Masters 1000 events.
Chris Wilkinson
Chris Wilkinson Former British No1 tennis Player and Olympian (Barcelona 92), reached 3rd round Wimbledon on 4 occasions, currently working in the media and with the LTA. A big Southampton football fan, he played for them as schoolboy and trained with Alan Shearer. Chris was once in a cage with a Cheetah.
Arvind Parmar
Arvind Parmar After a successful career on the ATP tour Arvind Parmar is now bringing his wealth of Grand Slam and Davis Cup experience to the world of broadcasting. The former British no. 2 who spent 15 years on tour having played current world no.1 Novak Djokovic and former world no. 1 Pete Sampras en route, has gone on to coach some of the top British players. He now broadcasts regularly as a match analyst and commentator - check him out this Wimbledon!
Rupert Bell
Rupert Bell Has had the privilege of working at Wimbledon since 1994 and has hoodwinked countless people to let him cover a wide range of sports including golf, rugby and an awful lot of horse related sports. All this after a brief attempt at being a soldier and a realisation that after a season at the national youth theatre the acting profession was clearly better off without him!
Rob Nothman
Rob Nothman is an experienced broadcaster and producer, who covered his first Wimbledon for the BBC in the Stich-Graf-dominated Championships of 1991. A host of other top sporting events have followed from Olympics to Royal Ascot, World Cups to Ryder Cups. His major claim to sporting fame was birdieing three holes in a row on the back nine at Augusta. For obvious reasons, we will ensure he talks only tennis this fortnight.
Richard Flemming
Richard Flemming
Former BBC broadcaster now working for the ITF, the ATP and others as a commentator and reporter, enjoying Masters 1000 events, as well as Davis Cup and Fed Cup. Discovered, whilst interviewing ex-England football manager Steve McClaren, that we shared the same PE teacher at school - 10 years apart!
Barry Millns
Barry Millns has covered tennis for more than 20 years on radio and television. He has commentated on every Wimbledon singles final since 1990. He is the current chairman of the Lawn Tennis Writers' Association and he once attempted to return Mark Philippoussis' serve, just surviving to tell the tale!
Philip Studd
Philip Studd Spent nearly 12 years at the BBC specialising in Tennis, Snooker, Track and Field and Boxing, and has now moved into the freelance realm. Stalked Andy Murray across North America for a few years whilst managing to avoid a restraining order. Share a birthday with the legendary Des Lynam, albeit that I'm slightly older. I use a very good moisturiser.
Gigi Salmon
Gigi Salmon
This will be Gigi's 11th year working as a commentator at Wimbledon. Gigi's hi-light has to be reporting on all 11 hours and 5 minutes of the Isner v Mahut match in 2010! Every year like the players Gigi makes the switch from clay to grass following 2 weeks with Radio Roland Garros and when not involved with tennis keeps very busy with Chelsea TV part of Chelsea Football Club.
Lucie Ahl
Lucie Ahl was former British number 1, playing professionally for 12 years. Since retiring has taken a multiple role in tennis from playing (part of the GB Vets tennis Team, current World Champions) commentating, coach education for the LTA and coaching players from mini tennis through to professional level. Outside of tennis Lucie keeps busy through exercise and has run the London marathon 4 times with a PB of 3hr18 and competed in a number of ultra runs around the UK, the ultimate aim is Ironman!
Todd Martin
Todd Martin retired from the Tour following his participation in the 2004 U.S. Open, his fifteenth consecutive U.S. Open. Two-time Grand Slam finalist (1999 US Open and 1994 Australian Open) as well as four-time Grand Slam semifinalist. Todd holds eight career singles titles and five doubles titles, a career High ATP World #4 ranking and also a member of US Davis Cup Team (1994-2002) - including Champion Team (1995). Following his retirement, Todd coached ATP Tour professionals Novak Djokovic and Mardy Fish as well as continuing to assist in the development of several top Tour and junior players.
Tony Adamson
Tony Adamson has spent more than 40 years in a distinguished broadcasting career, culminating in 14 years as BBC Radio's Golf Correspondent. Prior to that, he also covered Wimbledon from 1977 until 2002 including numerous Men's and Ladies Singles Finals. He was Northamptonshire's top tennis player in the under 16's and was coached by Dan Maskell until he could see no future in banging his head against a brick wall. He still has his Slazenger wooden racket which he now throws for the dog to catch and retrieve.
Richard Kaufman
Richard Kaufman
A sports broadcaster who can be heard covering football, golf, tennis and badminton around the world. Richard 1st covered Wimbledon in 1996. He was talkSPORT's golf commentator and then hosted the early afternoon and Drive-time shows. Now he is a regular on Sky Sports, ESPN and Eurosport, as well a regular contributor for IMG Media - broadcasting at all the major golf events, Champions League and Premier League matches and has worked at the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and the Olympics.

ABOUT LIVE @ WIMBLEDON

Live @ Wimbledon, the new video and audio channel broadcasting from the AELTC, will commence on Monday 25 June 2012.

Available worldwide online on Wimbledon.com, and on local FM, there are three radio channels for listeners to choose fromL Around the Grounds (87.7FM), bringing the whole event to life, Centre Court (96.3FM), which will feature ball-by-ball commentary from Centre Court, and No.1 Court (97.8FM), which will feature ball-by-ball commentary from No.1 Court.

Marcus Buckland and Mary Rhodes are the lead presenters, assisted by a team of talented broadcasters and a host of other names you’ll recognise.

Live @ Wimbledon Radio will broadcast from 9am to close of play.
